1876-CC Silver Trade Dollar |
PCGS AU58 | A reduced mintage of Trade dollars was recorded in 1876 at the Carson City Mint because, for unknown reasons, the mint stopped production in April of that year. Thus, only a fraction over 500 thousand circulation strikes were produced. While obviously an AU example, there are just a few marks keeping it from the Mint State grade. The grey sheet quarterly for a Mint State 60 graded coin is $6500. White! |

1893-S Silver Morgan Dollar |
PCGS AU50 | The repeal of the Bland Allison Act in 1893 brought Morgan dollar production almost to a halt. The San Francisco Mint produced 1.2 million circulation strikes in 1892, but just 100,000 in 1893. This the lowest mintage of the all in the Morgan business strike series! The majority available specimens are in the VF-XF grades and even those sell well into the four and five prices. An abundance of luster remains on this gem from the Cajun collection. |

1857-O Gold Double Eagle Liberty |
PCGS XF45 CAC | Experts believe there are just around 200 existing specimens of the New Orleans minted twenty in all grades even though the mintage was 30,000 circulation strikes. This figure exceeds the previous year's total by about 28,000 but by no means should the collector believe the 1857 is readily available! Most of the New Orleans minted Double Eagles were produced using gold procured locally, which was limited, and resulted in low mintages. Thus, the O-mint Twenties are highly desirable among collectors and dealers alike. Typical proof-like luster remains visible on about 45% of the fields, with fewer abrasions normally associated with the XF45 grade. Truly an above-average specimen that is CAC stickered as well! |

1875 Gold Double Eagle Liberty Type Two |
PCGS MS62 CAC | With billowy mint frost, rich rose-orange color and freedom from singularly distracting abrasions, this lovely BU would do wonders for a Mint State gold type set. Of even further desirability is the strike, which is uncommonly sharp by Type II double eagle standards. Original with an abundance of eye appeal, this coin should not be overlooked. |

1875-CC Gold Double Eagle Liberty |
NGC AU CAC | Natural orange-gold color and rather attractive for this era as most of these Carson City double eagles are found with considerable bagmarks, not so here, as the surfaces show smooth wear and minimal heavy nicks. High quality and appealing, always in demand for any Carson City issue. |

1876 Gold Double Eagle Liberty Type Two |
PCGS MS63 | Type Two Double Eagles are always popular with Collectors, especially in the Mint State grades. The 1876 is particularly desirable as it is the Philadelphia Centennial issue and quite scarce in the Mint State 63 grade. Population reports list 24 coins graded finer in Mint State 64 which we can assume is a slightly inflated figure with grading resubmissions. Our example is an appealing specimen, with few bag abrasions as is seen on most of these coins. Trends is $12,000. PCGS secure. |
